Queens v Ryland Rollers: 29-11
What a fantastic start to the season for Queens! 👑 The damp conditions and some very slippery balls made the first two quarters a bit of a challenge, but we grew into the game, gained confidence, and ended up playing some fantastic netball that really flowed down the court.
Izzy got Player which was very well deserved — some fantastic leaping interceptions and turnovers. 🏆 Beth had some wonderful feeds into the D at WA, and Tia and Gemma’s shooting was on fire. Welcome back to ATNC, Gemma! Katie was having an absolute blinder of a game too 🤩 Frankly, everyone played amazingly. There were a few silly errors, loose balls, and a couple of wayyyy too powerful overheads along the way, but we really got into the groove by the end, and it was a really fun match to get our season underway ❤️🏐
