A tight first quarter had us in the lead by 2 goals as Aces got settled into the game.
As we got into our rhythm in the second quarter we extended our lead to a 10 goal difference setting the first half up nicely!
Some amazing movement around the circle by Chloe and Grace T which created options for Gemma and I to have strong feeds into the circle!!
In the 3rd quarter we capitalised on our momentum and the score was 39-22, this was due to great defensive work from Leah, Katie and Grace C who had amazing interceptions.
By the 4th quarter we were happy with how we played and wanted to keep the win by keeping possession and have a calmer quarter. Blossoms fought back, winning the quarter 10-7.
However with our stronger previous quarters the come back was too late and Aces took the victory 46-32!
