Alcester diamonds 29 – Warwickshire warriors 51
For Diamonds third game of the season, we were up against the well established warriors team.
Attack worked the ball endlessly into the circle and didn’t let the Warriors defenders pressure us into forcing the ball in!
It was great to see some new combinations in attack with Chloe E, Lucy J and Grace T all shooting together, Chloe H being our stability in centre with her gorgeous leaps, alongside Holly in her first official game who was a great addition🥳!
In the defensive end, Grace C had some great interceptions and supported the attack through court, allowing the rest to happen. Leanne had tips here there and everywhere while putting their shooters off with our giggles. Leanne and I worked well in reading the passes in the circle, whilst gaining some intercepts too!!
Overall, it’s great to see some new combinations being built and I look forward to working on these in training♦️!!
